Retiree Benefits

The Benefits Office is the first place to turn for assistance with issues relating to Harvard’s benefits for retirees. Benefits staff can provide information on medical, dental, and life insurance plans, retirement plan benefits, and Medicare enrollment. For specific medical and dental claims, however, contact the individual medical or dental health care provider.

You can email benefits@harvard.edu or call 617-496-4001 for assistance. There is no walk-in or in-person hours at this time.

For detailed plan information about retiree benefits, visit Harvard Information for Employees. To access, click on the red button titled HARVie-protected employee site, and log in using your HarvardKey. Once in the site, click on Benefits & Rewards, then on Health & Welfare Benefits. Links to information on medical, dental, and vision can be found there. If you scroll down the page, there are additional resources, including a link to a downloadable pdf of the booklet Retiree Health and Welfare Palns Summary Plan Description (SPD)
