HURA Membership

Membership is open to all former faculty and staff who meet the University's definition of retiree. During their initial months in retirement, all are eligible for a complimentary membership the first year, or portion thereof, until June 30 of the following year.

Membership begins July 1 when members are asked to renew. The annual membership renewal fee is currently $20 (subject to change). There are currently about 1,400 HURA members among the total 6,000 Harvard retirees.

Join us! HURA provides opportunities for retirees to stay connected with the University and former colleagues through a variety of educational, social, and cultural programs, activities, and communications. It also serves as a liaison between retirees and the University on matters of mutual concern.
