The amount of your Basic and Supplemental Life Insurance coverage reduces by 35% on the June 30th following your 65th birthday for services and trades ("hourly") employees, or 66th birthday for all other faculty and staff.

Long Term Care Insurance: LTC insurance covers expenses for long term care, whether received at home, in the community, or in a nursing facility. You or your eligible family members may apply for LTC insurance at any time, so long as you are under the age of 80. Harvard's LTC coverage is through Genworth Life Insurance. It is not limited to the Open Enrollment Period. For information about coverage and costs for you, your spouse, siblings and adult children contact Genworth Life Insurance.
