Post Retirement Benefits Eligiblity

Harvard provides optional medical and dental coverage to eligible retirees, their spouses/domestic partners (at the time of retirement) and their eligible dependents.

Eligibility for post-retiree health coverage depends upon several factors, including date of first employment at the University, employee group, the length of University service, age, and date of retirement.

Information about medical and dental coverage for eligible retirees can be found on the the Harvard Human Resources Health Benefits website. In addition to providing a link to HARVie (which requires a HarvardKey to login), the section titled Retiree Health contains links to informational resources medical and dental plans and price comparison charts.
