The annual meeting will feature the organization's financial report, election of Board members, and remarks by HURA President John Collins. Following lunch, special guest speaker, Drew Gilpin Faust, President Emerita of Harvard University and Arthur Kingsley Porter University Research Professor, in conversation with HURA Board member Jamie Hoyte focusing on Faust's 2023 memoir Necessary Trouble with some questions about higher education as well.
On the day of the meeting, check-in will begin at 11:30 a.m. The program and lunch will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Registration will be via Eventbrite. Individuals on the HURA elist will receive a link to the registration in late May. Members who do not have an email address, can arrange for a mail-in registration by contacting Steve O'Donnell, 40 Joy Street, No. 10, Boston, MA 02114.
