The Harvard Alumni Association's Annual Meeting (the Commencement Afternoon Program) convenes in Tercentenary Theatre on Thursday, May 26 at 2:30 p.m. It includes welcoming remarks and acknowledgments by Paul L. Choi AB’86, JD’89, president of the Harvard Alumni Association (HAA); an announcement of Overseer and HAA Board elections; the presentation of the Harvard Medals; remarks by Harvard University President and Lincoln Professor of History Drew Gilpin Faust; and the Commencement address by Steven Spielberg. 

Admission for the Afternoon Program is free, and tickets are required. Harvard ID only. Extra tickets are available for spouses & companions.

The Harvard Community is also welcome to enjoy lunch in the Old Yard on Commencement. Luncheon tickets are for a bagged lunch of a sandwich, chips, fruit, cookie, and a bottle of water. Tickets may be purchased in advance for $15.Tickets for both the lunch and Afternoon Program are available in person at the Harvard Box Office location in Harvard Square in Farkas Hall at 10 Holyoke Street beginning April 19. Box Office hours are Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. Please note that the Harvard Box Office, formerly in the Holyoke Center/Smith Center Arcade, is now in Farkas Hall (home of the Hasty Pudding). The Arcade and all of the shops in it, including Au Bon Pain, are now closed due to construction.
