DESCRIPTION:<p>Dancers from Armitage Gone! Dance Company and Harvard University students will perform a short dance inspired by the exhibition <em><a href="http://www.harvardartmuseums.org/visit/exhibitions/4983/everywhen-the-eternal-present-in-indigenous-art-from-australia">Everywhen: The Eternal Present in Indigenous Art from Australia</a></em>. The dance will be performed to <em>Didjerilayover</em>, a composition by Stuart Dempster featuring the evocative harmonics of the traditional Aboriginal instrument the Didjeridu, which Dempster introduced to the United States. The event will take place in the Calderwood Courtyard at the Harvard Art Museums.</p><p>Following the performance, choreographer Karole Armitage will be in conversation with Lisa Mullins, host of WBUR’s <em>All Things Considered</em>. The talk will take place in Menschel Hall, on the Lower Level. Visitors can enjoy a light reception after the talk and will have an opportunity to view the <em>Everywhen</em> exhibition.</p><p>Admission is free, but tickets and registration are required.
